The Family and Medical Leave Act

DO BENEFITS REMAIN IN EFFECT WHILE ON LEAVE COVERED BY THE FMLA?
The insurance benefits in which an employee is enrolled will remain in effect while on leave. If the leave is unpaid, the employee is responsible for the employee share of all payroll deducted insurance premiums unless the insurance is canceled. Arrangements for payment of premiums should be made with the Payroll Office.
